Dr. Mariyam Shahida Mohamed
Dr. Mariyam Shahida began her career in the field of education and then progressed into education Management and human rights. Her experience spans the private, governmental and non-governmental sectors with wide ranging experience in the United Nations representing various groups at International Institutions.
Multilingual with a good knowledge of Asia, the Middle-East and Europe, she is well positioned to share her expertise in intercultural relations and mediation as well as facilitation of the development of strategies and action plans.
She holds a Professional Doctorate Certificate: Global Leadership and Management, European International University, Paris, France, Executive Master’s in Advocacy in International Affairs and Policy Making from the Graduate Institute of Geneva, Switzerland and a Master’s degree in International Business Administration from the University of Northumbria, UK, as well as a Professional Diploma in Education together with a Certificate in Educational Studies from the National Institute of Education, Singapore, and a Teachers Certificate from the Institute of Teachers Education in the Maldives.
She is the co -founder /Director of Arete Academy Geneva, Dhivehi Gaumee Vindhu and Founder of DDG and serves as VP for National Federation of Maldivian Employers, VP for EPS foundation and SG for International Center for Human Rights and Peace, Dean of Academic Affairs of Geneva School of Business and Economics.
