Prerequisites
The students should have following minimum requirement to be admitted to the programme
- Hold a minimum level 6 (European) or level 2 (French) diploma (all courses or approved title) or Bachelor degree from a recognized academic institution.
- International English language qualifications or completion of degree in English medium.

The course is open for both European and International students.
Medium of instructions and assessments
- Lectures and assessments will be held in English medium. Assessments includes online test, presentation, project writing and internship.

Course Fee
The course fee is CHF’24000 for the whole course. Students can to pay CHF’6000 per semester or CHF’ 200 per credit unit. Total credit units are 120 for the whole course.
Partial scholarships
There are limited number of partial scholarship are available for this course. Students who wish to get partial scholarship should contact the scholarship department by sending an email explaining the situation.

1 – Labour Law and Corporate Law (European Masters in Human Resource Management)
Based on two modules, this unit ensures students: have the basics of labour law, particularly European employment law;
• can utilise and understand he functions of different types of contracts and clauses;
• understand and implement labour law in the context of collective labour relations;
• can produce and adapt internal regulations and have a good knowledge of disciplinary law;
• can manage staff representative elections and dismissal procedures;
• are familiar with corporate law, types of company, procedures for founding companies and the nature of their governing organs;
• understand the link between events taking place in the company and human resources.
2 – Human Resources Management and HR Strategies (European Masters in Human Resource Management)
Based on two modules, this unit ensures students:
•can set up a project and assess its cost and cost-effectiveness;
• can manage teams;
• have a global vision of HR Management;
• are familiar with tools for effective conflict resolution;
• can conduct HRIS projects;
•can manage international mobility thanks to their knowledge of law, contracts and social security arrangements for expatriate employees and those returned from abroad;
• can establish and manage communications within a company;
• have a basic knowledge of personnel administration, legal obligations, remuneration techniques and procedures in the case of staff absences and departures;
•have a basic knowledge of work psychology and ergonomics.
3 – Specialty Module Training or Recruitment (European Masters in Human Resource Management)
Module A Training
• Be familiar with the legal bases and functions of professional training and with training actors
• Identify and analyse the training needs of a company and of individual employees and implement a training plan
• Follow up, evaluate, pilot and optimise a training plan
• Handle the administration and financing of a training plan
Module B Recruitment
• Establish an effective recruitment policy
• Understand the stages of the recruitment process
• Identify and analyse a company’s needs and write up an appropriate job description and job advertisement
• Know where to source job applicants
• Manage the entire recruitment process
4 – Professional Experience
A strong point of FEDE European master’s degrees is the requirement for students to consolidate their learning and gain a careers head start through hands-on work experience.The first-year professional project addresses manage- ment issues encountered during an internship or the work portion of sandwich training. The student produces a dissertation outlining the strategy adopted and the strategic tools employed.In the second year the student undertakes a three-mon- th internship and produces a professional dissertation on human resources management issues. The student analyses a business’s environment and makes orientation and strategic recommendations. The two dissertations are presented orally.
5 – Businesses, Competition, and Europe
This module ensures students:
• are conversant with issues surrounding concepts of business, competition and markets, as defined by EU legislation and decrees issued by the Court of Justice of the European Union;
• can demonstrate the importance of changes to rules concerning the behaviour of companies and concentrations between undertakings;
• know the role of the authorities in charge of applying business competition rules;
•are familiar with processes to ensure products comply with European internal standards.
6 – Modern European Language
This module ensures students:
• have CEFR level B1 (writing and speaking) in a modern European language; It results in the awarding of the FEDE Language Certificate; the Certificate is based on the CEFR and is recognised by the IFEF.
